One of few cedar spoons on offer this season, this spoon is light and delicate in material but bold in form and color. The streak of subdued purple is characteristic of eastern red cedar, which is usually hard to work due to its many knots and its tendency to split, but this one made it out in style. Cedar is a softwood, so any sharp corners on the spoon will soften with age, but it should still be useful for years to come. It is finished with several coats of food safe oil. Wash normally, do not dishwash.
