Perhaps the slimmest spoon on the site this month, this piece would work perfectly for reaching into slender jars for that last bit of jam, or getting your favorite olive out of the bunch. The carved and painted handle is eye-catching, but its symmetrical layout provides aesthetic stability. There is also a nice bit of color variation in the bowl, which sets off the rest of the spoon beautifully. This spoon is finished with several coats of food safe oil, and the green oil paint will reveal its age beautifully as your time with the spoon passes. Wash normally, do not dishwash.
