This spoon is the largest one in cedar that you'll find on the site. The form is strong and confident, and the handle provides some serious leverage for you to be able to scoop or stir anything with its generously sized bowl. A characteristic red streak makes its way from the back of the handle through the bowl, and offers a nice reminder of the spoon's origins in eastern Massachusetts. Cedar is a softwood, so any sharp corners on the spoon will soften with age, but it should still be useful for years to come. It is finished with several coats of food safe oil. Wash normally, do not dishwash.
