This luxurious box is the largest I currently make, and can take on a variety of appearances based on wood combinations selected and subdivisions within. The corners are mitered on the box as well as the lid to maintain a level hierarchy between four equal sides, but the feet and special insert on the lid lend orientiation to the piece so it does not get lost on your table or nightstand. Typically made with two species of wood, the primarly elements provide a subtle and elegant backdrop, whereas the accent wood makes the piece stand out with contrasting splines in the corners, and a statement piece on the lid. Pictured below in walnut and oak burl, but available in most domestic species and exotic options by special order.
